A Los Angeles native, Lisa Widmann attended both a Catholic elementary and high school. Mrs. Widmann completed her Certificate in Early Childhood Education, B.A. in Psychology and Dance at C.S.U. Dominguez Hills. She attended USC Graduate School for Clinical Psychology. Mrs. Widmann received her M.S. in Instructional Leadership & Curriculum Design at Mount Saint Mary’s University.
Mrs. Widmann has an extensive teaching history. She has taught College Level Studies Skills & Assertion Training for the C.S.U. Dominguez Hills basketball team. She has also taught a combination class grades 2-3 at a private school, 2nd grade at St. Bernadette, and 8th grade at Good Shepherd.
Mrs. Widmann has been the Vice-Principal, S.T.E.P. Coordinator, and Musical Director for Good Shepherd. She serves as the School Principal starting this school year.
She believes that teaching is a vocation, not a job. Mrs. Widmann’s goal is to guide her students to become people of empathy and integrity. Students should be globally aware, critical thinkers and should develop a love of knowledge.
Away from school, Mrs. Widmann loves to dance, read, and watch old movies.
