Our History

Since 1930

Faith. Academics. Service.

Good Shepherd Catholic School was founded in 1930 by the Holy Cross Sisters, who were stewards of both the school and parish until 1975. Following their time, the school was led by The Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, with Sr. Leonella Lynch as Principal and Sr. Francis Mary serving as Vice-Principal until 1999.

The school has been home to many notable alumni and involved with the local community since that time and it remains the only Catholic school in Beverly Hills, and to this day maintains standards set by the sisters so many years ago; Excellence in Faith, Academics and Service.
